Dosing System
The consumption of liquid nitrogen is used in this process by supplying LN2 through a vacuum hose which flows into the dosing head. A sensor is evident to detect the speed while a second sensor detects the attendance of a container. The container is detected which enables the dosing head to open and dispense an exact amount of LN2 (choose amount required). This is all processed through technology built devices alongside a Programmable Logic Controller which is via touch screen display making it easier. The doser systems are used for the following;
Pressurization in Packaging Applications
Benefits include- Oxygen reduction, lighter weight packaging, ease of labelling, package rigidity. This can be evident with applying to water bottles, juices, vinegar, energy shots, flax seed oil and teas.
Preservation Applications
Benefits include- Oxygen reduction, stabilizing organic products, extended shelf life and efficient nitrogen consumption.
Freezing Applications
Benefits include- Maintain product integrity, enhance flavour, enhance smoothness, aid in packaging & labelling and enable new products to market. This is evident in dipped ice cream cone or cafes.
Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) Applications
Benefits include- Extended shelf life, oxygen reduction, stabilizing organic products and reduce nitrogen consumption. This is evident in baby formula, coffee, nuts and trail mix.
Aseptic Applications
Benefits include of sterilization method- remove steam & moisture intrusion and decrease overall sterilization cycle time.
